Key Practices

1. Health & Safety

Regular monthly and weekly safety meetings are conducted by sectional heads to monitor and improve safety standards.

All facilities have clearly marked “No Smoking” zones, especially in operational areas, to reduce the risk of fire.

Fire extinguishers are strategically installed and staff are thoroughly trained in their correct use through periodic drills.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmets, boots, reflective jackets, and masks are provided and mandatory for all field and warehouse staff.

First Aid kits are maintained at all work locations and carried by all mobile and transport teams. Emergency contact numbers are clearly displayed.

Before starting any job, hazardous materials (e.g., gas cylinders, flammable liquids) are moved to designated safe storage areas.

During monsoon season, special guidelines are followed to prevent slips, electrical hazards, and transport delays due to landslides or road flooding.

Emergency earthquake response drills are practiced regularly in line with Nepal’s disaster preparedness guidelines.

Safe manual handling and lifting procedures are taught to all packing and moving staff to prevent musculoskeletal injuries.

Transport safety measures include GPS tracking, fatigue management for drivers, and vehicle inspection checklists, especially for routes through mountainous terrain.

2. Occupational Health

All employees are covered under health insurance and compensation schemes for medical treatment or injuries.

Periodic health screenings are conducted to detect and address illnesses early.

Counseling and support are available to maintain the overall well-being of our workforce.

Mental health support and counseling services are made available to promote emotional well-being, especially for staff under prolonged travel, family separation, or job-related stress.

Proper hygiene practices are promoted across all facilities and field sites, including access to clean drinking water, sanitation, and handwashing facilities.

Employees working in dusty or industrial environments are provided with respiratory protective equipment and monitored for any signs of lung-related conditions.

3. Vehicle & Transport Safety

Our fleet of transport trucks undergoes routine maintenance and pollution checks.

Drivers and passengers are fully insured, and no major incidents involving injury or manpower loss have occurred to date.
